Editorial Policy

Thestandingarmy publishes factual reference material and reporting on the armed force, its equipment programme, and its role in the state. Our content is divided into two distinct types. Reference pages, such as those on equipment or institutions, provide established, verifiable facts and are updated as information changes. Reporting in our news section covers current events and developments, clearly sourced and presented as such. We will not publish betting content, invented quotes, or speculation about a person’s private life. We do not present health, legal or financial advice as instruction.

We commit to publishing only information that can be verified from primary or authoritative secondary sources. Any claim that cannot be substantiated will not be included. In reporting, where official information is absent or contradictory, we will describe the nature of the uncertainty rather than present assertion as fact. All images are credited where a credit exists. We use real photographs and will never publish a software-generated image depicting a real person's face.

Our editorial scope is defined by the structure of thestandingarmy, covering topics from equipment and doctrine to budgets and societal roles. This includes related areas such as militarised police, the defence industry, and territorial disputes, always focused on their connection to the main armed force. Content is presented in plain prose for clarity and utility, avoiding promotional language.

Readers who wish to suggest corrections, provide verifiable information, or comment on editorial matters are invited to contact the editors.
